Halfway House
Freedom House is a substance free transitional environment for men in recovery.
This facility is staffed 24 hours and provides 8 hours a week of recovery focused services. Staff assists in the reintegration into the community in finding or returning to employment or school.
Transition Planning
The length of stay for residents is 6-12 months. In order to achieve a positive transition from Freedom House to the community, residents and staff plan and prepare needed support services for the individual.

- Applicant must read the orientation packet and complete the screening form.
- Referral agency will then fax the completed screening form and bio-psycho-social history for admission. (308) 237-5953

All residents of Freedom House must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Age 19 or older
- A diagnosis of substance dependence
- Successfully completed residential treatment the past year, or be willing to complete the Intensive Outpatient Program
- At high risk of relapse without a semi-structured and supportive environment
- Must be alcohol and drug free
